The Yakama Nation has been working with the Subbasin Watershed Action Teams to develop a signage campaign targeted at informing river users about river recreation safety and salmon habitat restoration efforts taking place in Upper Columbia Basin. Currently, 12 habitat restoration signs are proposed to be installed in the Methow Subbasin in the spring of 2014. Four signs are proposed to be installed in the Entiat Subbasin, and six signs are proposed be installed in the Wenatchee Subbasin. Opportunities for further partnership to Watershed Action Team members to erect the Yakama Nation sponsored signs are still available. Please see link below for details:
