Kaleen Cottingham from the state’s Recreation and Conservation Office joined KGMI’s Tessa McLeod to discuss findings from a 2019 report showing people spend $26.5 billion annually in Washington to enjoy outdoor activities. “Outdoor recreation rivals the aerospace industry in jobs created”, says Cottingham.
