Prior to being a Douglas County Commissioner, Randy Agnew was Mayor of Rock Island for over eight years and served on the Rock Island City Council for five years. Randy has also served on the boards of the Town Toyota Center, the Douglas County Port District Community Leadership Advisory Group, and the NCW Economic Development District, and as Board Chair for Link Transit, the Chelan-Douglas Transportation Council, Douglas County Solid Waste, and the Chelan-Douglas Community Action Council. For the past sixth months, Randy has been part of the Our Valley Our Future Housing Study Group.
Having lived in the Valley for over 50 years, Randy made his career as a computer programmer and business owner designing and writing complete accounting systems for larger businesses.
