The theme of this year’s conference is “Salmon Recovery Sci¬ence in Practice.” Science plays a critical role in the contin¬ued implementation and evaluation of the regional salmon and steelhead recovery plan. The 2013 Upper Columbia Science Conference is an opportunity to forge and strengthen relationships among various practitioners within the salmon recovery community and the Columbia Basin at large, and to provide a forum for the exchange and discussion of information and key issues. Science themes will focus on issues that pertain to listed fish species and their habitat in the Upper Columbia region.
