Bob serves as District 2 Commissioner for Chelan County, elected in 2018. Bob’s work has been focused on natural resource issues for the bulk of his career—either at the Washington State level or in the upper Columbia Region. Before his election, Bob served ten years as Executive Director of the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust, and for the ten years prior to that with the Governor’s Salmon Recovery Office—working specifically to establish regional salmon recovery boards. Prior to that, he worked ten years as a research biologist for Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. He has a BS in Wildlife Biology and MS in Fisheries Resources. In addition to his current service with the Upper Columbia Salmon Recovery Board, Bob is on the North Central Washington Forest Health Collaborative and as a gubernatorial appointment on the Washington State Salmon Recovery Funding Board.
